The Problem
Access real-world testers with a range of cognitive abilities to increase relevance, usability and accessibility of an app.
The Solution
Open provided a group of Cognitive Accessibility Advisors to perform usability testing on MAXminder. The advisors were diverse in age, cognitive abilities, and digital literacy. They were given access to the app on their devices and feedback was collected through our cutting-edge protocol. Caregivers also participated in the usability testing to test the circle of care feature of the app.
Services provided:
- Market Needs Analysis
- Usability & Accessibility Testing
The Outcome
Open supported the engagement of real- world testers of all cognitive abilities and their caregivers who reflect the targeted market of the app. Our protocol also helped enhance the credibility, accuracy and relevance of the feedback collected from testers. Overall, thanks to the testing performed by our advisors, we helped them create a more cognitively accessible product.
