The Accessibility Challenge

Accessible design, with experts.

This page is available to download as a PDF document here.

The Accessibility Challenge is a hands-on, interactive experience designed to help leadership teams identify and overcome cognitive accessibility barriers in products, services, built environments and workforces.

Cognitive accessibility training by leading experts and individuals with lived experience.

What is The Accessibility Challenge?

Participants in The Accessibility Challenge adopt different personas and are tasked with navigating a series of real-world scenarios that mimic the cognitive difficulties faced by individuals with conditions such as ADHD, dyslexia, memory impairments, or learning disabilities.

As participants encounter these barriers, they gain first-hand insight into the struggles people face, and are encouraged to think critically about how to approach products, services, environments and workplaces for better accessibility and inclusivity.

Co-designing a more neuroinclusive future.

The Accessibility Challenge ends with an interactive co-design exercise involving individuals with cognitive accessibility challenges to better understand the real world impact of decisions on their lived experience.

By the end, participants will have a deeper understanding of how to create accessible, neuroinclusive experiences, and how not doing so impacts clients, colleagues and people in their day-to-day lives.
